To support nonprofits across Kansas in fulfilling their mission, building capacity and becoming sustainable.
We serve to establish and grow successful nonprofit organizations that contribute to improving the quality of life in our community.
We provide training, networking, support and resources and encourage collaboration and alliances between nonprofit organizations, businesses, government and educational institutions, and communities across Kansas.
We keep you updated with information on grants, emerging issues, the latest research on nonprofit trends, and provide information on resources for your organization. Need legal, accounting, HR or other services? We can connect you with businesses that specialize in services for nonprofits.
Post a job opening on our website and social media. The Kansas Nonprofit Chamber is able to provide consultation to your organization as you hire employees and competitively pay staff. We are happy to announce we have the Guidestar Nonprofit Compensation Report, published in 2019, meaning we can share data-driven information with you and your board! As always, members receive a discount for our services.
Post an opening for your nonprofit board or committee and we will work with you to promote the opening and try to connect you with someone that wants to serve. If you are interested in serving on a nonprofit board or committee complete the Board Member Match-Up profile form and we will connect you with an opportunity to serve. For these forms and current openings, visit our Join a Board page.
In the process of starting a 501c3 or just not sure that you are ready to take on the big task of starting a 501c3? We can act as your fiscal sponsor allowing you to move forward with your program, project or service and take donations by providing fiduciary oversight, financial management, and other administrative services allowing you to achieve your mission. In essence the fiscal sponsor serves as the administrative "home" of the cause. Charitable contributions are given to the fiscal sponsor, which then grants them to support the cause. Learn about fiscal sponsorship in this short video (NEO Law Group).
We provide consulting, training and strategic planning at affordable rates and can connect you with others that provide similar services. We are also available for a phone call or meeting to just provide some advice and direction. Contact Cindy Miles for more information.
We believe that nonprofit organizations have a tremendous impact on quality of life for all residents of Kansas and we want to recognize individuals and organizations that make exemplary contributions to the success of Kansas nonprofits. To see more information, visit our Inspire Awards page.
