Mid-American All-Indian Museum is seeking board members with legal and financial experience. The Mid-American All-Indian Museum is a museum dedicated to educating people about and preserving the heritage of the American Indian for future generations.
Minimum Expectations of Board Members:
1. Attendance at Board meeting on the first Wednesday of each month from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Failure to give prior notice will result in unexcused absence.
Actively serve on at least one committee.
As stewards of the Mid-America All-Indian Museum, each Board member is expected to be a member of MAAIM.
In fulfilling their responsibility to ensure that the organization does the best work possible in pursuit of its goals, each Board member would be expected to:
• Contribute 40 hours of volunteer service, OR
• Contribute an additional $1,000, OR
• Any combination of the two.
• Fundraise
Ways to accumulate volunteer hours include Board meetings, committee meetings, volunteer hours at events and workdays and serving as a museum docent.
McAdams Academy is seeking board members with experience in advocacy, finance, fundraising, marketing, education, or law. The mission of McAdams Academy is to provide a safe place where vulnerable youth practice academic, emotional and spiritual skills for thriving lives that affect families and communities.
